User Info: lightningS9. DanteDevils posted I would say so based solely on the fact that even the Wardens could not truly kill him unless they killed the dragon first. The reason why Archdemons are such a menace and the Wardens so neccesary is when you kill an Archdemon, it’s “soul”? Jumps into the nearest darkspawn That being said, the Warden would beat the Inquisitor hands down. While eating a sandwich. Because he doesn’t need mommy Andraste for people to believe in him or her , people love him because he’s a BAMF who eats Archdemons for breakfast and asks for seconds.
If the Warden were to step on a lego, it would break the lego. Yada yada yada, Warden, yada yada Objectively, it seems to me like the Inquisitor is more powerful In my opinion, it’s the opposite. The anchor didn’t enhance Inquisitor skill, it only serve as key to seal rupture rift. It probably diferent in Coripheus hand. As for wardens, the tainted blood did gave all wardens superhuman strength like darkspawn since technically they have all darkspawn strength and ability if they survived the joining ritual.
But again Origin intended as a stand alone game and only got sequel due to success in sales, so they just overhaul the story. Look how they treat grey wardens in this game and made them look like a bunch of powerless idiots.
But every new MC usually got special treatment and has to be more special then the predecessor by the developer. Just like in Assassin creed series, Ubisoft always state in every new game in the series that the New MC probably the most skillful assassin, while Altair actually become some demigod in the first game with how he posses the Apple of eden and how he the one that actually train and expand the organization after he take over.
This is how he beats C 2. I don’t recall the taint giving the wardens anything but darkspawn radar and shorter lives, unless you’re talking about Morrigans post bedding talk, in which case it was both speculation and referring to stamina not strength. If I’m wrong feel free to correct me but even then strength means little for a mage and archer Wardens. I highly doubt Hawke is stronger than the Inquisi, let alone the Warden so that logic only stands if Bioware says otherwise.
I doubt it tho. GT: LightningShade9. User Info: CheeseItBaggins. In terms of abilities and lore, Corypheus is basically an Archdemon in human form. No idea how it works in terms of power, seeing as Corypheus is by all accounts, still a human turned Darkspawn , albeit a very powerful one, and an Archdemon is literally a former God. Corypheus and his bros did not literally ’cause’ the first Blight, as the Chantry implies. This is not true, by Cory’s account. When they got to the city, it was already corrupted, and it corrupted them.
They are victims of the Blight, really. What’s not clear to me is how Old Gods speak to creatures with the Taint.
From what I read so far, an Archdemon is a sleeping Old God who mentally directs the Darkspawn to him, who in turn corrupt him and awaken him to turn into an Archdemon. But if they’re not corrupted yet, how do they talk to Darkspawn in their sleep? Also, Wardens are the most overrated, outdated and most obsolete creatures in all of Thedas. Yeah, I said it. KingofAsia’s sister is my waifu.
User Info: Nekr0. Cory was too easy.. The Warden is even the most powerful character in canon. I’m not going to bother posting the reasons all over again because I’ve already done so in several other threads and I’m getting sick of typing it over and over, but suffice it to say that the Warden, if they’ve survived to DAI, has killed a number of insanely powerful enemies, including several Gods, and done so without needing green magic kryptonite lodged in his hand or any kind of blessing from anybody.
Every big enemy Hawke or the Herald have taken on is a watered-down version of something the Warden fought. The reason they don’t help out in DAI is basically outlined in their letter as ‘I’ve killed at least two Gods and averted dozens of world-destroying disasters, all without needing anybody’s help. If I can do all of this, the least you can do is kill some jumped-up Darkspawn that’s not even worth my time. Here’s some loot I got off the last monster I killed with one hand, which would probably have mauled your entire party to the Game Over Screen.
Now don’t contact me again, I’m busy doing something for myself for once. Otherwise, why would the Warden Commander, the great Hero of Ferelden, be trying to get out of it? They’re the Dragon Age equivalent of Chuck Norris. Arguing that Hawke or the Herald, who are more or less shown as equals and are both miles behind them, are somehow stronger is just ridiculous. User Info: EbonTitanium. Wardens are like Spec Ops teams. All they do is fight, kill, and train. The Warden fought a corrupted tainted old god.
The Elder One was strong but had an obvious weak line. Remember how Voldermort couldn’t die because he split his being into 6 pieces.
Strong but once you figure it out, he is weak Mutation took us from single-celled organisms to being the dominant form of reproductive life on this planet.
Infinite forms of variation with each generation. User Info: vhiran. You might kill the architect but Velanna’s sister always vanishes and you can’t save her, so if he’s anything like Cory he just jumped to her and was reborn and the warden didn’t do anything but convince him to never try allying with surfacers again.
And flemeth, she’s been killed multiple times in the past, she says so. Luckily she has horcruxes or whatever as we saw in da2. Yet another irrelevant victory [and a good thing too since morrigan was wrong about the possession thing] the rest of your post is pure fanboyism, which i don’t have a problem with usually but now i want to say congrats on being the reason why we will never see the warden again though, you nuts made him out to be insanely powerful and now bioware can’t use him without risk of making you horribly upset because he’s not a demigod anymore.
User Info: Golurkcanfly. Yada yada yada, Warden, yada yada People work up the Warden far too much. He had access to the Grey Warden treaties. Everyone was obligated to help him. Destruction, destruction to end all! The universe, and human subconscious are willing their own end! This is the will of Metatron! Can you stop me? The Warden not only kills the archdemon, which should have power equal to or greater than Cs Dragon, but also 2 high dragons one of which was a ghost iirc the vitahrell or whatever that stone spider things called, a harvester, and Flemeth the centuries old witch who we now know had a piece of an elven goddess within her making her even more powerful.
Plus if we bring squad members Warden has some of the best even with Wynne gone. Then you add in everybody but Anders from Awakening to cover any conflicting members like Leliana. Then the Warden himself can be a better variety of specializations and even for argument sake any 1 of the Wardens specs can be better than most of the inqisi’s and Warden has him on age of experience.
