I have run so many different utilities to attempt to reflash this thing and it all boils down to Windows not recognizing the device even exists when plugged in. I installed drivers every way that has been suggested, from generic ones to, of course, Google’s usb drivers. It showed once in Device manager and immediately disappeared once I noticed it.
Now it doesn’t show any devices even being plugged in to any port on the computer. Mainly, I have used WUG’s. Now, after trying the simplest thing I didn’t even think of, factory wipe from Clockworkmod recovery menu it is bricked and is just sitting at the “Google” splash screen with a lock image at the bottom. I attempted similar processes from my Ubuntu machine as well, thinking that Windows was the hinderance.
No dice! EDIT: oops! I also forgot to mention I am on a Nexus 7, wifi. I believe I was on Kit Kat at the time. I forgot to mention that all my usb ports work properly with anything else plugged in to them!
I have also tried multiple chords. I have tried the keyboard push–logging into my account which Google device manager finds and shows me where I am on the map, mind you. Then you’ll have to push the stock lgkeyguard. I cannot provide you with mine as I have heavily modified it and it only supports insecure lockscreens. I know this is an old thread but i hope someone will find this helpful. This error showed up on my device after reboot. This was causing trouble on my phone. After reboot the “keyguard” error showed up all the time without possibly doing anything. I managed to solve it by scrolling the lock screen until it shows another lockscreen widget.
